On January 11th we had the great pleasure of celebrating our 60th anniversary! To commemorate the occasion we hosted celebration that included games, giveaways, refreshments and a ceremonial ribbon cutting for our loyal customers!
Customers that stopped by our 60th anniversary celebration were treated to storewide sales and a live band as they shopped. We were so happy to see the community come out and support us. We’ve been around for 60 years because of them, and we can’t thank them enough!
During the ceremony we were honored to receive a personal congratulations letter from the Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder. In the letter from Governor Snyder there was a line that read “This is an incredible milestone made possible by a long legacy of hardwork and dedication by your members to help others grow and succeed”, and we couldn’t agree more. We would not be where we are now without the hardwork and dedication of our knowledgeable staff. We want to thank them for all the work they’ve put into make our store run smoothly.
We were also presented with an Entrepreneur Excellence Award from the City of Southgate. We cannot express enough gratitude for the city of Southgate that has been our home for so many years.
All in all, our 60th anniversary was a fun and truly special day. We can’t wait to see what the next 60 years brings!
