For those who want to make sure they have a unique aspect in their home, take a look at these floors. These folks took creativity to their floors.
If you’ve been bitten by the recycling bug AND have a bunch of old belts laying around, then check out this original idea! These belts have been coated to a functional thickness and then glued onto panels which can be used for floors or walls.
If you like shiny things then this is the floor for you! Using epoxy paint, these floors have been painted with craft store glitter. It was done strategically, though. The trick isn’t to smear on an even coat, you have to toss the glitter in the air and let it settle naturally.
Do you have a little Van Gogh running around your house? Instead of displaying their artwork on the fridge, how about having a whole floor dedicated to showcasing their creativity! Using three layers of cross-laminated wood and a computer controlled cutter, your children’s designs can be carved into the floor.
